George (D’Funkavinci) Hudson, born Feb 13, 1964, a self proclaimed PFUNK Artist from Compton, Ca. Who resides in San Antonio, Texas, has been a true Funkateer since the 1970, following PFUNK Artists George Clinton,Overton Loyd, Pedro Bell, and Stozo The Clown, and adding all of their different styles into his own styles to create the D’FunkaVinci Style of PFUNK artworks. He has many CD/Album covers that he’s done for PFUNK Artists to include: Thurteen (THURTDELIC), The Skunk Mob, P-Union, and The MuthaFunkaholx. D’FunkaVinci has been an Artist since 1975 drawing up his own comic books as a kid. Taking multiple classes in art from Junior High to College. As a Military Veteran he kept his artistic skills in his off times, using multimedia art forms as his weapons of choice. PFUNK Art is the only Art form that this Funkateer will create. This is why D’FunkaVinci will Always Keep The Funk Alive.
Dr. Funkenstein Acrylics (aka “Dr. Funk”) is a Miami-based artist, curator, and creative director known for creating immersive community events and pop-up gallery experiences.
Originally from Richmond, VA, he has deep roots in the music scene: from marketing for numerous bands to serving as an emcee for major festivals including FloydFest and Rooster Walk.
Now living in Miami, Dr. Funk is the founder of The F.A.M. (Funky Art Movement) his collective of 300+ artists he has featured through his events, and the creator of Dr. Funk’s Rooftop Fam, Miami’s original and most popular rooftop art gallery experience!
He has collaborated with numerous artists, brands, and venues, and was recently the featured artist for Cloud 9 Adventure’s JAM CRUISE 22, where he led a community mural activation in Ocean Cay, Bahamas.
In addition to curating events like Rooftop Fam and Funk Basel, he has also taught and inspired over 6,000 students through hands-on workshops and classes.
His mission: Build community, inspire others, and make art an experience!
